Sock Classes Offered at Sheep Street

Basic Socks: This is a "how-to" class which will cover types of ribbings, how to turn the heel, how to shape the heel to suit your own foot and how to finish and graft the toe. This class uses our own generic pattern which is designed for any yarn and any size foot! A three-session class, we will make sock knitting easy enough that you can always have a pair going in each car! No more twiddling your thumbs and gnashing your teeth in stalled traffic! The cost is $35.00 plus materials. |

Toe-Up Socks: This class should
cover it all! Students will have a choice of heel types, toe shapes,
cast-ons and bind-offs! You make the choices and Marilyn Lange and
Angie Estgerday will guide you to create
your own designer socks!
Students must have experience knitting basic socks and understand increases and
decreases. The cost is $35.00.
