We carry packages of hand-dyed silk "hankies" which can be used for spinning OR knitting. Each gossamer-thin hanky corresponds to one cocoon.

Draw each hanky out into a yarn-weight thread, roll it into a ball and start knitting....the slight unevenness of the silk yarn gives wonderful texture to the fabric.

This 6" x 40" scarf was knitted up from one 1-oz. package.
